College athletes, coaches, administrators and support staff will engage in a discussion of the current climate facing LGBT athletes and coaches. The panel, moderated by Pat Griffin, the primary author of the NCAA Resource Guide on LGBT Issues in Sports, will address steps taken to create an accepting environment for LGBT athletes at USC and what the NCAA is doing to combat homophobia and transphobia in athletics.
