Sports & The LGBT Experience

Thank you to everyone who made the USC Sports & The LGBT Experience Conference a success. All of the pictures from the conference have been posted and videos will be available in the following weeks.

Scholars, athletes and practitioners engaged in the intersection of sports and the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender experience gathered at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism for a series of conversations, panels and discussions examining the implications of sexual orientation and gender identity in sports.

The conference is sponsored by the USC Annenberg Institute of Sports, Media & Society, which is directed by Daniel Durbin. Partners include the USC LGBT Resource Center and the USC Annenberg Norman Lear Center. The conference is co-directed by Annenberg Doctoral Candidate Evan Brody and Adam Amel Rogers from the Norman Lear Center.
