On Thursday, April 9th, 2015, the USC Annenberg Institue of Sports, Media & Society was proud to host a panel of distinguished sports figures as a part of the Spring 2015 Nike Sponsored Sports and Social Change Speakers Series.
The distinguished guests discussed the similarities and differences in the construction of sports narratives on broadcasts in the U.S. and France. They then answered questions from the audience.
Panelists included Laura Okmin (NFL Sideline Analyst, FOX Sports), Scott Brown (President, Universal Sports Network), Marc-Angelo Soumah (Former President, French Federation of American Football), Ari Wolfe (Analyst, NFL Network) and Samyr Hamoudi (Anchor, Bein Sports).
